中國人壽資產管理（香港）有限公司於2005年11月30日在香港註冊成立。2007年5月31日完成引入戰略投資者並更名為“中國人壽富蘭克林資產管理有限公司”。公司的股東構成：中國人壽資產管理有限公司， Franklin Templeton Strategic Investments Ltd. 以及中國人壽保險（海外）股份有限公司。

China Life Insurance Asset Management (Hong Kong) Company Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong on 30 November 2005. It was renamed as “China Life Franklin Asset Management Co., Limited” after merging with a strategic investor on 31 May 2007. Constitution of company’s shareholders: China Life Insurance Asset Management Company Limited（50%）, Franklin Templeton Strategic Investments Ltd.（26%）. and China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co., Limited.（24%）.

公司秉承了中國人壽保險（集團）公司“打造國際頂級金融保險集團”的發展戰略，努力建設成為集團外匯資金集中化、專業化管理的全球配置平臺，同時，也積極拓展第三方機構客戶，為其提供專業化的資產管理及投資相關服務。

中國人壽富蘭克林資產管理有限公司具有香港證監會頒發的第九類牌照和第四類牌照，獲准從事機構客戶的委託資產管理業務和投資顧問、投資諮詢業務。

China Life Franklin Asset Management Co., Limited possesses type 4 and type 9 of license issued by Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, which allow the company to engage in asset management and advising on securities.
